Grease is the Word! | Hyde Park

Last Thursday, a large group of my friends and I travelled to Hyde Park to attend the Film Festival.
Hyde Park has been hosting lots of free events this summer; live music performances, outdoor cinema screenings, and comedy acts. We decided to attend the outdoor cinema screening of sing along Grease.

We headed up on the train and bus. When we arrived, we grabbed some Maccy Ds, and headed into the park.
The festival looked great with a large screen and loads of bars - even one floating in the air! We arrived early in order to secure a place in the cinema, as admission was on a first come-first served basis.
Some ice creams were purchased, headphones were collected, and we took our spot outside on the grass.

The film soon started and it was so much fun! I love Grease - it is one of my all time favourite feelgood films. Loads of people were singing along, and some were even dancing!

During the film we realised that there were Snog frozen yogurt being provided for free, so we rushed to grab as many pots as we could carry. It was delicious - especially under the sun's heat!

I had so much fun with my friends, and the festival was fantastic [and free]! We are definitely returning next year, and hopefully to see a live music performance.

Overall it was the perfect start to summer!

My Weekly Love | Moisturising Mojito

A cocktail for your skin?

I am in love with The Body Shop's new range, Virgin Mojito. The company's new summer fragrance is gorgeous! The products smell exactly like a Mojito, and are so fresh and cleansing. I love mojitos - especially when they are made by my best friend's mum - they are delicious! If only you could smell through this screen, because I am terrible at describing smells and I am not selling the smell of this product enough - I think you just need to pop into the Body Shop at some point to have a little sniff.

The collection has lots of amazing products, but I opted for the Body Sorbet. The Virgin Mojito Body Sorbet is a light, gel moisturiser with lime and mint extracts from the Caribbean. I love this body moisturiser as it is so hydrating and perfect for a summer body. The body sorbet also leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft, and the gorgeous aroma lasts for ages!

I would definately recommend the whole range from The Body Shop, but especially the Body Sorbet. I have recently preferred non creamy moisturiser as they leave me feeling fresher and more clean.

A Summer Walk Through The 100 Acre Wood

Located in South East England is a beautiful, heathland, and woodland landscape named Ashdown Forest. An area well known for its references in the Winnie-the-Pooh stories.
The 100 ache wood, where Pooh and his friends live, was inspired by the author's [A.A. Milne] love for the area. The unique environment is beautiful and a lovely location for a summer walk with my family.
We had a lovely picnic by the woodland, and enjoyed beautiful views across the hills, and we also enjoyed ice-creams from a local ice-cream van. Although, one problem that we found with the area was that there was a lot of dog poo which ruined some of the scenery. Apart from this small issue the area is a beautiful place to spend long, sunny summer days!
